Description
The highly anticipated debut album, that features contributions from acclaimed artists and vocalists such as Ian O’Brien, Julie Dexter, Mark De Clive-Lowe, Kaidi Tatham, Nicola Kramer amongst others. Rima is a new project held by Domu and Volcov. Domu has been playing out for around 10 years from the age of 14,the styles and venues have been varied. The early years were mostly warehouse parties, which then progressed into playing at legal venues such as The Sanctuary, Milton Keynes, at the height of the Jungle/Drum&Bass era.
"Their Rima project though, sees them seize the opportunity to step out of the shadow of broken beat, and deliver a superb album of all styles. Sure, their trademark broken beats are in effect, but so are soul, boogie funk, Detroit techno, and house, and a fine array of guest vocalists and players including Julie dexter, mark De Clive Lowe, Nicola Kramer, and Ian O'Brien. Both, Domu and Volcov are great broken beat producers. This album should see them regarded as simply great producers” Breakin' Point
