The Jimpster remix is a dry bone punchy knorke knock on wood remix.
Motorcitysoul (C-Rock and Matthias Vogt) uploading their classic Windy City-Detroit-Mainhattan house drive here. Yep.
TJ Kong & Nuno Dos Santos: TJ Kong (aka Max 404, Clashing Egos) a long term affiliate with releases on Mo’ Wax, Djax, Evolution/Universal Language, Eskimo, remixes for David Holmes, Kirk Degiorgio, Steve Poindexter or Gerd. Nuno Dos Santos has built a very solid DJ-career over the last years and became resident for the party organization ‘Full Spectrum’. Together with fellow Patrice Bäumel he is also involved into ‘360’, an own monthly night at Club 11 in Amsterdam. Apart from being DJ he works as a graphic designer and has studied interaction design at the Utrecht school of the arts. They teamed up for several Compost Black Label releases, and watch out for their first album in 2010.
Jimpster: Jamie Odell (aka Audiomontage) has been producing, remixing and DJing for the last 18 years, running Freerange Records. His most recent 12”s for Freerange include „Dangly Panther“, which was nominated for Best Dance Single 2008 in the coveted DJ Mag Best Of British Awards. Recent artists to get the Jimpster midas touch in the form of a remix include Osunlade, Bob Marley, Joris Voorn, Seal, Mark Knight & Funkagenda, Marc Romboy, Solomun... the list goes on. This remix here is another dope Jimpster statement.
Roberto Rodriguez: Another Compost Black Label don. Well, with thousand other activities like in/with Future Beat Investigator ... Track N Field or Acid Kings. In the year 2007 Deep Dish voted his "F.B.I - All I Want" track of the year and one thing lead to another. Heavyweights like Underground Resistance, Laurent Garnier, Timo Maas or Âme supported his productions..... Roberto needs no coloured masks or stupid haircuts. He simply took his chance - with a little help of timeless quality labels like Compost, Freerange, Sonar Kollektiv, Raw Fusion, Laka Worldwide or Plastic City – to convince tastemakers and editorials with his personal definition of contemporary house music.
Watch out for Jay Shepheards album later 2010 on Compost, worth the wait in the meantime coming another Black Label spring 2010 and one 12inch on Diynamic.
